What is the better way to learn? Telling or showing? Jesus knew the answer! Jesus showed His students through parables, what the Kingdom of God was like, what Judgement Day would be like, what His heavenly Father was like. He wanted His listeners to experience the story. Jesus was the greatest teacher because He wanted His students to think and He did not tell them what to think or how to think. He knew that "those who had ears to hear" would eventually come to an understanding of what He was trying to convey. We too, need to "have ears to hear" and meditate on His many lessons. As students of the Bible, we have much to learn! Let's walk through some parables together.
